Seize the opportunity to go both ways
The 8th China-Russia Expo was held at the Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 16 to 21, and the 33rd Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair was held at the same time. Zhang Yuhui, chairman of Liaoning International Cooperation Group, led a team to participate in this exhibition and conducted business negotiations with the delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
On May 16, Chairman Zhang Yuhui called on Sergei Sanakoev, executive vice chairman of the Russia-China Friendship Association, in Harbin. During the period, Chairman Zhang Yuhui introduced the company's historical evolution and strategic layout of business with Russia to Mr. Sanakoev, Vice Chairman, hoping to explore cooperation opportunities with Russia in the whole industry chain such as Sino-Russian investment and cooperation. Vice Chairman Sanakoyev praised Chairman Zhang Yuhui's proposal and said that he would provide relevant support for Liaoning International Cooperation Group to carry out business with Russia. He hoped that the two sides could strengthen docking and open up more cooperation space in more fields in the future.
On May 17, Chairman Zhang Yuhui and Ilshat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan •Fazrakhmanov met during the China-Russia Expo. At the meeting, Chairman Zhang Yuhui introduced to Minister Fazrachmanov the company's traditional business sector and the new mission of the Liaoning provincial government to "open to the north" and Liaoning's trade with Russia, as well as the details of the company's ongoing "Russian Road Link" comprehensive trade service platform project. Minister Fazrakhmanov introduced the agricultural industry structure and investment environment of the Republic of Bashkortostan. He said that agricultural products such as honey, horse milk wine, beef and dairy products produced in the Republic of BashkortostanThe output ranks first in Russia. The country is vast and sparsely populated, rich in agricultural resources, and has great development potential and investment value. Minister Fazrahmanov welcomed the Liaoning International Cooperation Group to carry out trade and investment cooperation projects. Chairman Zhang Yuhui said that he will visit Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in due course to promote cooperation in the fields of trade and investment between the two sides.
On the morning of May 18, Chairman Zhang Yuhui met with Alexei Gusev, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Minister Gusev introduced the basic situation of trade in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Chairman Zhang Yuhui introduced the company's business development. Witnessed by Minister Gusev, Chairman Zhang Yuhui signed an inter-company cooperation memorandum with Maxim Kladchenko, President of Bashkortostan Agricultural Industrial Cluster Management Company. In the future, the two sides will carry out diversified cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and economic cooperation. This signing means that Liaoning International Cooperation Group has made a phased breakthrough in its "opening to the north" strategy, laying a solid foundation for the accelerated implementation of the follow-up strategy.
